What is Property Styling?
Property styling is the art of making your property as appealing as possible to as many potential buyers as possible. It's about maximising the sale of a property - this includes achieving the optimal sale price and selling within the quickest amount of time possible. Property stylists employ the techniques needed to highlight a home’s key features and showcase the optimal use of space.
How long before I sell my property should I engage your service?
We recommend you give us as much notice as possible however, 2-3 weeks is the norm. We're pretty adaptable though and can meet tighter deadlines if required!
What happens to my furniture if I choose partial or full styling?
For partial styles, it might only be a few items that require removal. If they're not too large and cumbersome (cushions, trinkets, vases, artwork etc), we recommend putting these items neatly in the in the garage or shed, out of sight of potential buyers. For larger items in either partial or full styling, such as tables, couches and beds we recommend placing them in storage for the duration of the sale campaign.
How long does it take to style a property?
Obviously this can depend on the size of the property, but always allow between 4-6 hours.
What is the hire period for partial and full styling?
The hire period for partial and full styling is 6 weeks, with option to extend if required.
When does my hire period start?
Your hire period starts on the day of install.
What are your payment terms?
Partial and full styling requires a $300 deposit to lock in the booking, with balance of payment due 3 working days prior to install. Consultations and report services require full payment 3 working days prior to the appointment. We accept payment via direct bank transfer and credit card. There is also a 'Pay Now, Style Later' option available.
Do you offer a Style Now Pay Later option?
We sure do! We use and recommend Elepay. Speak to us for more details on Elepay.
What happens if my property sells before the end of the hire period?
If the property goes unconditional during your hire period, you can simply call us to arrange collection at a time convenient for you.
What happens if my property doesn't sell during the hire period?
It's rare that a styled property doesn't sell, however, if this does happen we can give you some options to extend the hire period (charges apply) - either on a weekly or a more long term basis. As you would have already had professional photographs taken and marketing material printed, you can simply request for us to collect the furniture and accessories. Just remember though, your 'team' (agent, agency and stylist) will be doing everything to ensure your property does sell within the hire period!
